Certainly related to the Asian calligraphy but otherwise back in the west. I came to exploring media, oil pastel, charcoal, brush & ink, that I had visited in art school but since painting was my main interest I had to get a bunch under my belt before my interest wandered over to, back to, such media. They're really rich and could preoccupy one for many years.... I let them go after reaching a certain point only because time limits me & there are other things I want to do also. |
