As my daughter moved into her late pre-teens her drawings came into that in-between period where the wonderful naive quality began to shift toward description, yet retained naive qualities, lack of perspective knowledge etc; I had always found this stage less interesting but as she went thru it I gained an appreciation and used it in some paintings. It's real and so brings that to my paintings... and what's better than reality?
