About itself, also and about everything...
I didn't notice until years later, showing slides with this image,
that the sort of goal post image repeats in the frame (notwithstanding
the poorly framed slide). I think I realize by now that impasto
draws me because of its association with mud, the primal ooze
out of which we spring (boing).
