Nine Small Heads © 1991-2 Tom Ferguson Still have'em. oil on panel, 6 x 5" each
I did these for the niche room at Sandler Hudson Gallery, 1992. There were small niches in an intimate space, kind of darkened
so the work was lit in an unusual way, abit Catholic church-ish, so I
filled them up with what I had then did these for the remaining
spaces. Had probably 60-some paintings in the main gallery. They could be mounted 3 x 3 for a 9-panel rectangle 18 x 15".
