These were the only visuals I could muster during a six month period of
working at the Post Office in Milwaukee, saving money for
a Europe trip. I reached my goal by June, spent the summer painting and
doing art fairs then headed for Europe in September, for 8 months.
I wanted to use them to accompany a collection of poetry I naively
thought I could get published, sending the manuscript to publishers
via my sister while I was in gone. There may have been some jewels in
their but mostly not. Too early in my writing to see that. The
drawings are ok tho.
