back Janet & Tom Wells Disaster

came up with this design & painted it on concrete (with advice
from a paint seller)
... turns out the concrete was not cured or the dampness from below
kept coming through & the whole design flaked away... twice!
Then I did the design on canvas, in 4 pieces. The concrete work was
miserable, hours & hours on my knees. I know my paintings are
ultimately ephemeral but jeez! There are two views here: and below the preliminary from which Janet chose a combination.
