I did the mural in December/January just before heading to S. GA
for a residency in the public schools. It was quite cold... all I
wanted to do was finish it. Later they cut three windows into it and in
this shot it has faded considerably, after 19 years. A waitress
is standing on the tip of what was then the IBM Tower in midtown. Three
bands of building skyline arc across the background. The owners also
asked me to put a kitchen worker out grabbing a smoke on the door,
visible on the far left... and below also. Is that Bruce? The
cafe theme is 50s thus the sideburns etc;.
