Going out into the neighbood and painting "live" began to get old, with people approaching me, chatting,
even bringing me their kids drawings to evaluate in one instance... no
I had to get back to the studio and when I did it was to stain a canvas
& stare at it until something suggested itself. Some of that of course would come from Art HIstory which i'd been
studying now for about four years.... in this case Picasso's Blue
Period - thus the title. That Blue Period had roots in Impressionism,
especially Degas, Lautrec and good ol' Cezanne.
