back next Long/Brief Days (2 views) © 2008 Tom Ferguson I wrapped canvas around a 2 x 4" for this piece & filled in the ends. It was
during my heavy impasto days, late 70s to late 80s. The numbers, obviously I hope, refer to the number of days in a year
multiplied by an average life span of 70 years. It has been in various exhibits on various tables. Jerry Cullum gave it a nice
mention when it was part of a Multiples show at Chastain Art Center in Atlanta, curated by Julia Fenton. The previous image in
fact was a black n white of that installation.
