Did a proposal for the Atlanta Arts Festival in about 1980 which would have recruited 20 or so artists to create "clothes" for a high art clothes line... I would have made clothes pins, pop art sized, to hang the vinyl pieces on a line overhanging the arts fest crowds. Did not float (see Installation section). Later cut out one of the preliminary sketches for use in this stand alone work. I allowed it to hang around where I was painting for several months to gather the bits of paint that fleck its surface. |
