Ancestor 4/03 Oil on found oval glass w/frame 22 1/4 x 16 1/4"	......	Found this oval frame and curved glass among family objects. It contained a photograph of distant relatives, my Father's Mother's parents, I think, McChesney family, who I never met. The drawing I used I found in a notebook & seemed to be of that era, turn of the century 1899-1900. Painted the inside glass black and did the head on the outer glass. Adding the title on the frame seemed like a good idea. I had done something similar on the headboard painting called, Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (in the found object section on the main contents page).	back  next
