back ... next	Six Gun 6/05 Oil on sheet rock mounted behind found cabinet door with openings 30 1/4 x 13 1/2" The painting subject is from a drawing done in one of the one-a-day drawing books I kept from 1969 to 1974. The drawing depicted 36 soldiers, drawn from above in a grid & getting progressively more abstract. The grid of this found panel beckoned. The painting is done on sheet rock which is mounted behind the openings, originally designed for glass in the cabinet door.
